a little while ago i spied this little girl, blowing bubbles at a birthday party, off in her own little world...

this is dylan - he will be one in a couple of weeks, already! just like his other little cousins, he is growing up so fast. he crawls around so quick that it's amazing my camera managed to get a shot! luckily, he did pause for a second to give me an adorable smile - such a cutie :)

southside travellers: part two

this is the second series of pictures from my travels down south (at least a month ago now, time flies!). i LOVE cherry blossom trees...they are so pretty. i'm glad i got to photograph some, i was getting jealous of everyone else's lovely pictures of them! we danced around in the trees for a while before we went to the beach for a windy stroll. fresh air in the face and the mist from the crashing waves as we raced along the sand made for a very enjoyable afternoon. the southwest coast would have to be one of my favourite places to be!

southside travellers: part one

a couple of weeks ago now, when the days and weekends weren't so hectic, i took a road trip with some friends to margaret river. we did the obligatory tripping around to chocolate factories, berry farms, beaches, drive in's and the like. here is part one of the pictures! we could probably just title it: food. i seem to have a penchant for photos of food! i can't make it but at least i can shoot it (and eat it).

room of requirement

last week katie and ben came for a lovely visit. staying for a couple weeks, they sort of set up camp in the yellow room. katie bought a few vintage vases, put some yellow flowers in them and bought some pretty fabric..combined with my suitcase and a bit of film love, it all made quite a nice combination. i think perhaps the vases were too heavy to take home, because they're still floating around - it's a nice piece of memory to have.

august arrives

i haven't posted in a while! it's now august - only one month before spring decides to pop its head around the corner. i'm currently on prac at a highschool, so my daily hours are spent planning and teaching the kiddies! however, i did find time recently to shoot off the rest of a negected roll of film and get it processed. i like some in this set very much :) i hope you enjoy them as well - i'll post a few more, hopefully before the week is out!
