last weekend my dear cousin emma celebrated her twenty first birthday!  complete with pink champagne, mysterious masked guests and lots of twinkly fairy lights, it felt quite magical!  thanks for putting on a super party emma – happy birthday!

a delightful breakfast

last weekend my dear friend nicole celebrated her birthday with breakfast at moore&moore in fremantle. it was a lovely morning, complete with chai lattes, pretty flowers and a very cute baby :)

circus

i celebrated my twenty first birthday with a circus themed party! we had nearly one hundred balloons, countless streamers, a kissing booth, a clown, bunting, a photobooth and lots of lollies :) busy getting everything ready, i didn't get much time to take pictures - thankfully, my sister chantelle did manage to capture a few of the details.* thank you!

i had a wonderful night - thank you to everyone who made the night truly spectacular!!

katie's birthday

happy birthday! here are some photographs from katie's birthday :) we spent all saturday baking and mixing (and tasting!) for the party on sunday morning. we even made some bunting out of katie's cute fabric (the non-edible kind ben).

despite the fresh gusty wind, it was a very enjoyable day, and it was go nice to be there for my sister's birthday - and to hand over all the presents from w.a!

i've been invited to a birthday party! i'll be jet setting off to tasmania for the next week and a bit, but hope to be back with a plethora of photographs from all my adventures!

ps. how cool are these invitations? they are hand drawn and have a magnet on the back - where better than to put it on the hills hoist!?

baby shower

last week my sister katie came for a little visit! after all the surprising she has done us, we thought it would be nice to surprise her in return with a baby shower :) we had a lovely night with lots of aunties, cousins and friends - here are a few pictures of the evening.

dessert

a little while ago i was invited to a dessert party! one of the coolest ideas i've come across. we started off with a light dinner, and progressed to fruit kebabs, brandy snaps, blue berry cheesecakes, not to mention smotherings of chocolate mousse over everything :)

august arrives

i haven't posted in a while! it's now august - only one month before spring decides to pop its head around the corner. i'm currently on prac at a highschool, so my daily hours are spent planning and teaching the kiddies! however, i did find time recently to shoot off the rest of a negected roll of film and get it processed. i like some in this set very much :) i hope you enjoy them as well - i'll post a few more, hopefully before the week is out!
