warm glow

my dear mother has the loveliest rose garden, and at the moment it is in full bloom. i spent a grey skied afternoon doing a little pruning, and ended up with a few blossoms myself. i love how all the colours blend together...it reminds me of a sunset...

do you like my new hairband? its woven from natural vines and put together by hand by this lovely lady. i feel a bit like a fairy wearing it, but it is rather pretty to resist :)

all the colours of the rainbow

these are some of the flowers in my mum's garden - i tried to find all the colours of the rainbow, and i think i got there! i love the way they all look together - who says its winter? hope this cheers up your day!

these pictures were taken in autumn, when the leaves were changing colour and the air was getting a little chilly. we're still having sunny days now even though it is june, but the rain is starting to set in.
