on the 30th of march, 2012, tim and i were wed :) we got married in my parents front yard among the trees and warm dappled sunlight in front of our loved ones. words cannot explain the joy i felt on this day, and still feel now when i look at this footage and our beautiful photographs. i was, and am, so unbelievably happy!
my uncle jim took this footage of our ceremony and afternoon tea with super 8. i love the little snippet it gives of our day and i love its grainy vintage feel.
the film is nice to watch in its silent form, but i chose to put the song that i walked down the aisle to. we had it performed beautifully by our friends delroy + laura, but the original version you'll hear on this video is from old man river, appropriately named 'the wedding song'.

more wedding fun! every picture tells a little story :) enjoy!
aww, pretty party people! alliteration at its best!
this is what happens when you get distracted and forget to put up the birdy! and then the subject gets distracted and decides to pay more attention to her fork than the camera!
bit of sisterly love going on here, on both sides of the photo!
just having a little jive - i love the expression on alyssa's face! and eric giving the precise history of the spectacular art on his tie (some french painting i think, can anyone guess?)
the arms went up, the arms went round and the arms fell down...never good for the bride to fall over! luckily they were both laughing!
this is the end of someone saying something funny! i love it!

chloe and warren were married on the sixteenth of may, two thousand and nine! i got a bit snappy happy and took my camera along to the reception at waters edge winery. it was a real challenge working in dim lighting with no external flash - i think everyone got sick of my 'birdy' hehe :) however, i managed to get a few!
hope you enjoy - thank you, chloe and warren, for a lovely evening - it was magic!
