yesterday i said goodbye to the teenage years and hello to being a twenty-something. one of the many beautiful gifts i received was a new guitar! it looks and sounds so pretty! i love it so much - but i love the boy who gave it to me even more :)
thank you to everyone for making the day so enjoyable - i'm truly blessed!
Just the other day i went for a bike ride! I stole an idea from Liz and named the bike "Marie" [mah-ree]. It used to be my mum's, but you could say i've adopted it as of late. It's a pearler :)
This shot was taken using a 35mm film camera!
ps. you can clicker your way to flickr (where you'll find some more filmic goodness) if you hit the photograph (with your mouse, not your fist!)
last weekend i had the privilege of spending saturday morning with my good friend charlene. it was wonderful! lively conversation, cups of tea, a yummy breakfast and a walk on the beach made for a very enjoyable morning :)
(these photos were taken with a Olympus OM707 Film SLR camera - i LOVE how they turned out and can't wait to show you more!)
It's been a while since i shot film - well i'm happy to say i'm back to it. Recently I borrowed my sister's Pentax Film SLR and had a bit of a play around. I'm quite happy with how they turned out... there's just something about film that i LOVE :D
By the end of the week I should have some more film shots up - i'm currently shooting on a Olympus OM707 that was made in 1986 - the first automatic SLR camera on the market! Can't wait to see how they turn out.
I don't have the best scanner so the quality isn't top notch but you get the idea :) I think i like the first shot the best - i love the sun's outline on the leaves of the tree. If you click on the photos it should bring you to my flickr site where you can view the rest of them. If not, here is the url: http://flickr.com/photos/34578908@N08/sets/72157613556963903/
don't be shy to let me know what you think of these! :)
this is the story of brodie's adventures with nanna: "when i went to nannas house, we did gardening and catched the ball and even talked to the cows!! come cow come cow come cow :) we had lots of fun!"
I've entered a photographic competition! It's called "holidays at home" and is run by the west australian. My photo (port gregs was a natural choice) is currently being featured in the Week One gallery! The winner scores a trip for two to Broome! Wish me luck!
