rain in florence

it rained nearly every day when nicole and i were in florence, but it kind of added to the whole feel of this beautifully old city. this picture of the bicycle is one of my favourite's - and how cool is the man's umbrella?!

it's nice not having to do anything every once in a while. today i took a spontaneous trip outside with marie and discovered a lovely tree! the air was very crisp and refreshing and my face was tingling when i got back home - you should try it sometime - just remember to wear socks!

i love the quiet still of dusk - shame that daylight savings are over and my bike rides can't be more prolonged! i had to act fast to get this shot before the light faded :)
