a while ago now my mum gifted me with some lovely fabric from 'ink and spindle' . lately i've started to get into sewing and thought it was about time that i used the fabric - so i made some cushion covers! i recycled some zips and the inserts from cushions that i didn't really like anymore, and zoomed away on mum's very old and heavy swiss sewing machine. they are far from perfect (i need a bit more practice still) but i do think they are rather pretty :)

Lovely! You could sell these for $50 each if you were so inclined... Don't though- they are too pretty not to keep for yourself.
they ARE pretty! they turned out wonderfully aimee. so glad you finally got around to making them. come around here anytime you like, i have lots of fabric waiting to be turned into yummy cushions! and i love how you say 'zoomed' in reference to mum's sewing machine - thats literally what it does! x
they are gorgeous ... that fabric is adorable ...
its amazing what a very old sewing machine can do Aimee. Good job zooming........the cushions are lovely sitting on your bed.
