away and back

Monday, April 20, 2009

i have returned! i spent the past week with my sister chantelle and her family. i had a lovely time, going for bike rides to the beach, taking caden for walks in the pram, going fishing with the boys, shopping, driving around, creating a new 'into my window' and soaking up the sunshine! in between the talking, stampin' and tea drinking, i managed to take some pictures :)

these photos are taken with the trusty olympus om707 and a roll of kodak gold. the colours are so vivid! i love the way the colours compliment each other, like caden's blanket (doesn't he look so cute when he wakes up!) and the cereal bowl on the counter (which one of the twins abandone). over the next couple of days and weeks i'll be posting more photos (and hopefully some video!) of my time away.

for now, i will leave you with these - let me know what you think!

Wow, they are great pictures Aimee. The colours are nice and bright like you say. You have lots of Caden - they are all very cute. I like the one of him and Tyson. Well done and can't wait to see some more. (I really should get a roll of film)
It was fun to have you around. x

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! LOVE the one of Tyson/Liam (can't tell them apart!) with Caden in the stroller, and the one of Caden with the soother in bed. You are amazing.

Some nice photos here Aimee! You have some cute cousins there. And how blue is that water! Amazing. Is that photoshopped or the real deal? I love your nephew's (Caden?)gut hanging out. Love that baby fat!

it's the real deal chris - i think it might have something to do with the 1960's camera and the film - oh, and that the beach was really that beautiful :)
