the sun it rises

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

on saturday morning i watched a beautiful sunrise over the sea. the southern part of our state never ceases to amaze me. the crisp air, the roaring ocean, but most of all the light...this was worth getting up for.

all the wild horses

Monday, March 1, 2010

i have never been a huge fan of horses, but after seeing so many nice pictures of them, i have to confess that they are rather photogenic creatures. in a burst of spontaneity, marie and i travelled down the road in the fading hot summer sun to capture these. i have no doubt that i will be back for more.

the other week my sister katie flew in for a visit! it was lovely to have her here again, and between chantelle, katie and i there was a fair bit of yabbering going on :)

we went to a wedding, rode the ferris wheel (at night!!), went shopping (very locally, hehe), were invited out for a lovely dinner, ate at a restaurant (yes, the family favourite) and had a big family dinner!

these pictures were taken one sunny saturday afternoon over beer and croquettes and conversation...and lots of love for natural lighting!

thanks for a brilliant weekend sis, was great having you here!
(hope these pictures get your o.k)
