bali

we got married, and then we went to bali – i’d been a bali before, but only the busy, built up areas popular with tourists.  we stayed on the bukit peninsula, a magnificent stretch of cliff lined coast.  we hired a scooter and travelled to surf breaks and remote beaches.  we ate at little huts lined up along the beach that overlooked the surf and stayed there for hours, with no one to bother us.  it was a different type of bali, one that i will hopefully one day come back to.
