i'm a little bit excited! i've just produced my first piece of artwork! inspired by the book this lady wrote, i decided to give mixed media collages a go. using bits of fabric, pages of magazines, buttons, paint, stamps, gel medium, gesso and charcoal i put together a mish mash of all sorts of things...it was really good to get away from the every day busy-ness of everything and get a bit messy.
it's not perfect, but i like how it turned out...now...what's next?!

hello aimee, i love it! a success indeed. now you just HAVE to make one for me! maybe one with a bit of a baby theme...for the nursery?? it needs to be 1m long X 0.5m wide, if you could incorporate a few birdies into it that would be cool too...
