here are a whole host of images from the soccer carnival, held last week saturday. it was a fun day! i was on face painting duties, but i managed to sneak in a few pictures between trying to paint clowns and butterflies and rainbows on the kiddies faces!

hello! i'm so busy, i have not posted for a little while. i also have not been on any adventures lately, so picture taking has not happened. however, painting has! i made this for my cute lil nephew dylan - he turned one yesterday :)

i'm a little bit excited! i've just produced my first piece of artwork! inspired by the book this lady wrote, i decided to give mixed media collages a go. using bits of fabric, pages of magazines, buttons, paint, stamps, gel medium, gesso and charcoal i put together a mish mash of all sorts of things...it was really good to get away from the every day busy-ness of everything and get a bit messy.
it's not perfect, but i like how it turned out...now...what's next?!
